SONY PCG-R505/ABW(PCG-612G)2001年6月発売

画面の解像度が、800x600にしかならない。

チップセットは、Intel 815EM 。XGA 1024×768 まではいけるだろうに。

シングルユーザーモードで立ちあげて、

# X -configure
# X -config ./xorg.conf.new

どうだ！・・・だめらしい。 Fn-Alt-Backspace

再び、シングルユーザーモードで立ちあげて、

# dexconf
# X -config ./xorg.conf.new

一応バックアップ

# cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.org

/etc/X11/xorg.confを編集
